I think there is more time for this one. It's not a rush job anyway. Yes i'll send a rough copy of the backing when I get it finished. Possibly tonight if I get time. Just been working on music for an underwear ad of all things!!

Hi Ed

I have another song I am working on - I may put it up on Humtoo as a collaboration, still working on the 1st draft of the backing. The brief is to create a soundalike for Chuck Berry's "Let's Twist Again" with words about "twisting" "twisting off" "twist and turn" etc.... It's for a company that creates adverts in US. Would you be interested in having a go at adding your vocals (and possibly a guitar solo in the middle).

The project should appear soon (next couple of days)

Cheers

Peter

hi Ed

Any news on the film pitch yet?

Also, I have put up a new collaboration project on humtoo (Song for TV series) in case you are interested in having a go.

Cheers

Wow you're up early!!!! Hope you like the backing track. If you can get something done today I can finish it off tonight when I come back from playing in a show (c11.00pm UK time) and send it off before close of business in the US. It's weird working in two different time zones!!!

Peter

P.S. did i send you a link for the "Hot Out There" track? Hopefully I will hear back later today - fingers crossed!

Hi

I have just put up another collaboration project for a 1960s style song. If you are interested in putting vocals/lyrics to it let me know. You can download the backing track from humtoo or I will send you the file link. I think the timescale is very tight (maybe a day!!)

Peter

P.S. I am sending you the file link for the last song you did shortly. Many thanks - I will send it to the client and hope that they like it enough to use it.

hi

Sorry about the delay getting back - I had a listen to the track. The only problem I can see is that the lyrics have to relate to the themes of "It's Hot out there" or "working for a living" and I'm not sure that yours do explicitly enough. I like the feel of the song though and I agree that backing vocals might add something particularly in the chorus section. If you have time to alter the lyrics and do a backing vocal that would be great. Also if you can send me the wav files directly I can tinker with the overall mix a bit more tonight.

Thanks for your work so far. Much appreciated.

Hi Ed

I have just put up a collaboration project (Rockabilly Song) and wondered if you would like to add vocals/lyrics and possibly a guitar solo in the middle. The rough mix is on the project page. It's a pretty tight schedule. Let me know.

Cheers

thanks.

It's a bit rough at the moment. I had to put it together rather quickly. I can always tweak/alter bits later on. The basic format is:

Intro-2 verses-Chorus-2 verses-2 Chorusx2-Guitar solo-2 verses-Chorusx4-end

If you think it's C*** let me know!!!!! Won't be offended.....

Thanks for pitching your music for my project. I made a mistake and uploaded the same video twice for 2 projects - I've had to close this project, as it's the same video for project 1, so can you put this music on the other project? I'm about to upload somemore so I do hope you'll put your music up for those too!

Thanks.

Thanks for your entry for our project. We were amazed at the quality of music produced on this site. Unfortunately we wont be using a HUMTOO track this time, but we will definitely be using the site again so keep an eye out for our next project please! Keep up the great work!
